Training on Leadership, Team-building and Motivation at University of Public Health, Yangon
The two-day training programme was attended by 26 participants from the University of Public Health, Yangon, University of Medicine 2 and staff of HelpAge International Myanmar. The programme was facilitated by Sinzar Consulting with the objective enables the participants to develop their leadership skills in order to build confidence for use in their working environment.
This programme covered a wide variety of skills to improve team-building, develop problem solving skills, leadership and motivation within the workplace. The training combined experiential learning activities, pair work, group work and discussions to ensure that the theories are put into practice and made memorable. The programme was focused on behaviours, problem solving and building high performance teams emphasised on developing the essential skills to enable the participants to be able to build a higher performing team.
In addition, the training was also focused on leadership and motivation by providing insight on leading, motivating and developing others by developing the essential skills to enable the participants to be able to lead and motivate their staff more effectively.
The key outcome of the training was better understanding of personal behaviour preferences, enhanced ability to flex behaviour when working with others, clearer understanding of the stages of development of their own teams and better sense of personal motivators and ideas on how to help others feel more motivated.
